Hunts Sussex Cider... a family tradition of farming alongside nature
Norman Hunt & Sons are a family farming business who have been growing apples since the 1930s. Today we are still following our family traditions and values, growing organic true cider apple varieties such as Harry Masters Jersey, Dabinett, Coat Jersey, Kingston Black, Brown’s Apple, Ashton Bitter, Michelin, Yarlington Mill, Chisel Jersey, Vilberie and Brown Snout, plus many other lesser known varieties. Our orchards benefit from ‘Ashdown Sand’ soils, located in the rolling hills of East Sussex close to the village of Sedlescombe near Battle.
Refreshingly natural ciders from the heart of Sussex
Our ciders are made with passion and care, using traditional methods and ZERO chemical input, allowing our farm to be a haven for nature and our products to be free from any toxic residues. Our apples ripen naturally and are only harvested when fully mature and falling from the trees, giving maximum sugar levels and full development of the many subtle flavour components.
The end product of all this care and attention? A range of delicious, natural tasting ciders, each with its own distinct character.
